YARRAGLEN HOMESTEAD
From Our Farm To You
Yarraglen Homestead is in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales Australia, down in the Capertee Valley. Most people have never heard of this valley, yet it is the second widest enclosed canyon in the world and only 2.5 hours from Sydney. Our valley is surrounded by sandstone cliffs and at sunset it is a sight to see. Birdwatching is a favourite past time down here, with over 200 bird species to enjoy.
We grow fruit and vegetables on the farm which create our delicious jams, spreads, pickles and chutneys. Nothing nasty is sprayed on the produce and the products are made as soon as everything is picked. This ensures good quality and minimal intervention is needed to capture the goodness in the jar. Enjoy our dukkah or meat rubs which have our herbs picked and dried from the farm.
Soap making is our passion! Handcrafted and made from natural ingredients, our soap is gentle on your skin as well as moisturising. We grow lavender and a range of herbs and plants to infuse our oils as well as using the petals and leaves for decoration.
Caring for our environment is important to us and an essential part of this is packaging. Ditch the plastic bottles and try our shampoo and conditioner bars. Our bars last much longer than traditional shampoos, are made with natural ingredients which leave your hair soft and manageable.

CAPERTEE VALLEY SOAPS
Capertee Valley Soaps are made here at the farm from natural oils and beautiful goat milk. Pure essential oil is used to scent the soap and it is excellent for all types of skin including sensitive.
Goat milk is a gentle cleanser, full of nutrients and fatty acids which keep skin nourished and moisturised. We use 25% goat milk in our soaps along with natural oils and tallow. For the super sensitive skin we also have a goat soap without any essential oil.
If you are looking for a vegan soap try our Castile, made from a mediterranean recipe of pure olive oil without essential oil.
